Outdoors in a setting with bright, indirect sunlight or partial shade but will tolerate some full sun.

Spring through Autumn, keep your Pygmy Date Palm well watered. Usually once per week, but it may need more in the Summer. During Winter, reduce watering. Early in the Spring, resume regular watering and use a controlled-release fertiliser two to three times during the warmer months.
