Favourite Environment

They require bright, filtered light to grow and look their best, though direct sunlight and exposure to hot afternoon sun can burn the leaves. Rotate the plant regularly so that different parts face the source of light, to ensure even growth. Every week or two, dust the leaves with a damp cloth.

Preference

Fiddle-leaf figs like a moderate amount of moisture in the soil. If it doesn’t get enough water, its leaves will wilt and lose their bright green color. Too much water can cause leaves to drop. It is ideal to flush the soil until water comes out of the bottom of the pot at least monthly, to prevent salt build-up.
