Native to southeastern Veracruz state in eastern Mexico.
Favourite Environment
Part sun, part shade. Fairly salt- and drought-tolerant, but should be protected from extreme cold.
Drinking
Preference
Water deeply (and drain) weekly in summer, and reduce moisture in winter and autumn by half. Soil can be slightly moist.
